Get Involved

There are a variety of ways in which you can become involved with EWB, including (but not limited to) traveling with the groups, mentoring students, helping to set up meetings, assisting with newsletter development, helping with fundraising, as well as other needs for which we periodically request assistance.

Join

Whether or not you are a professional engineer in Wisconsin, we encourage you to join Engineers Without Borders.

All sorts of skills are helpful for EWB. Technical expertise is useful in educating and training others, so the design & build of the project is more successful. Non-technical expertise, such as assistance with health assessments, cultural education, trip planning, fund raising, and grant writing, is also extremely valuable.

If you have interest and expertise in these or other areas which may be beneficial to EWB, please contact us by email to join, or just stop by one of our upcoming meetings or events and see what EWB is all about.

To become an official member of the WPP Chapter, please go to the EWB-USA membership page and follow the instructions. On the page where it asks for your name & other info, please select the "Wisconsin Professionals" chapter (scroll down to the bottom of the list). We look forward to you becoming a member!

Spread the Word

EWB-USA, as well as the Wisconsin Professional Partners chapter, are fairly new organizations. The more you spread the word and let others know about us, the more we can help communities around the world. Please spread the word about EWB-USA and the WPP Chapter, and feel free to share the link to our website so that people can learn more about us.

Get Involved

Community support is integral to the success of Engineers Without Borders. If you are interested in helping our chapter plan, develop, and implement exciting engineering projects around the world, please get in touch with us.

ASCE & EWB Membership

ASCE offers an option for joint membership in ASCE and EWB. For more info, see the ASCE website.

If you join EWB through this manner, you should then login to EWB-USA.org and affiliate yourself with the “Wisconsin Professionals” chapter so that we can include you as an official member, and so that the normal portion (20%) of your dues is directed to the local EWB chapter.
